As a research assistant for Dr. Tim Bryant, I worked alongside him and his graduate students to assist in variety of research studies related to prosthesis and the mechanics of human motion. In conjunction with graduate research assistance, I helped contributed to the manufacturing and expansion of the Niagara Foot Project into the Chinese market. Through this experience, I acquired valuable skills in research, manufacturing strategies, ergonomic design, data analytics, and effective communication. Furthermore I gained substantial insight on the ethical, social, economic, and environmental aspects of research and design.

  • Manufacturing assisting with project expansion for the Niagara Foot Project

  • Designing and constructing testing equipment for a human gait study
